Live is so much easier when a recording is done great and only need touch ups through mixing. Probably to drop or raise some highs or lows, or mids, whatever. I've worked with some awful recordings before and some amazing one, so I can't agree enough with that. I may be a bit over the top with good recordings... but there is no excuse not to have one for a professional project. It makes life so much easier. And Josh, greaaaaaaat article. I may be a bit over the top with good recordings… but there is no excuse not to have one for a professional project. It makes life so much easier.
